Michael Jackson's Family Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit
The Jackson family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit alleging that AEG is to blame for the death of Michael Jackson. According to a report on California Injury Blog, the lawsuit alleges that the Jackson family believes AIG put profits over Michael Jackson's safety and health. When interviewed by TMZ, Katherine Jackson said that there is no judicial resolution that could be reached with Dr. Conrad Murray or AEG that will bring her peace.
The complaint filed by the Jackson family personal injury lawyer accuses AIG of failing to provide lifesaving equipment, which was apparently part of an agreement AIG did not honor.
AIG called the lawsuit "unsubstantiated and meritless." AIG said that they did not choose or hire Jackson physician, Dr. Murray who allegedly provided Jackson with drugs that may have caused his death.

Rap Artist Jobs Before the Career
Ever wonder how much cash those big rap stars are pulling in every year? These stars are always flashing expensive jewelry and cars while bragging about playing Monopoly with real cash. Although, a number of rap stars would like you to think they were previously gang members or street hustlers before they pursued their rap careers this just isn't always the case. According to a blog on The Village Voice, a number of rap stars worked demoralizing dead-end jobs before striking it rich.

Kid Rock To Host The 2010 CMT Awards
Kid Rock announced his excitement to host this years 2010 CMT Awards. According to MSN Music the rock star told reporters that unlike the Grammies, the CMT Award ceremony is much more laid back and fun. And that is exactly what the Kid has promised to do in this year's award ceremony. Have fun and make some waves.
In addition to hosting the ceremony, Kid Rock will be performing with the number of other guests which include: Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, the Zac Brown Band, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Jamey Johnson, LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban and John Mayer.
Although Kid Rock is primarily known for his rock music he has been known by the country music community through collaborations with artists such as the Zac Brown Band, Willie Nelson and Gretchen Wilson.
This year's Country Music Awards sounds promising. Let's hope that Kid Rock can live up to his promises as a fun and upbeat host.

Ellen DeGeneres Starts ElevenEleven Records
After her first season of American Idol, Ellen DeGeneres has decided to make her own record label. The announcement was made on her afternoon talk show. The label is called ElevenEleven and was formed with Telepictures Productions.
We all hope to see some big music artist join her label soon.
Her first act has already been signed and appeared on her talk show performing an original song called Broken Hearts. The 12-year-old, Greyson Change, became know through a viral video where he covers Lady Gag's Paparazzi on piano.

Ozzy Osbourne Announces 2010 Ozzfest
For all those the metal heads out there, this one is for you. Ozzy Osbourne announced the 2010 Ozzfest on Friday, with a killer line up. The main stage is expected to include acts such as metal legend Rob Halford from Judas Priest, motley Crue, and Nonnpoint among others.
The second stage will display acts such as Zakk wylde's Black Label Society, Kingdom of Sorrow, Saviours, Kataklysm, and many others. Each night is expected to have 13 acts on two stages.
The 2010 Ozzfest tour is set to kick off August 14 in San Bernardino. The other tour dates are as follows:
Aug 17 - Chicago, IL - First Midwest Bank Amp.
Aug 19 - Pittsburgh, PA - First Niagara Pavilion
Aug 21 - Hartford, CT - Comcast Theater
Aug 22 - Camden, NJ - Susquehanna
Aug 24 - Boston, MA - Comcast Center

Wild Seven Minute 46 Second Guitar Solo
I just finished watching an amazing compilation of songs by a talented guitar player, Brodie Cumming. His compilation is a live video of him playing riffs and solos from popular songs. Listening to the amazing song choices from a variety of different artist is something I believe most listeners can appreciate.
There are a few minor mess ups in this video. Compiling, memorizing and then playing this almost 8 minute song should justify a few mishaps though. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. Please leave your comments below and let me know what you think?
