You may know him from Road Crew, Guns N' Roses, Slash's Snakepit, or even Velvet Revolver. He is one of the best know guitar players in the world. Whatever the case Saul Hudson, also known as “Slash,” has made his mark in music history.
According to snakepit.org Slash has recently made two big announcements. The first is a show happening on October 20, 2009 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. The Concert called "Slash & Friends" will include Jason Bonham, Tommy Lee, Joe Perry, Courtney Love, Rick Nielson, Matt Sorum, Rob Zombie, Adam Levine, Rocco Deluca and Nicole Scherzinger.
The second big announcement involves Slash and Alice Cooper. Alice has confirmed that he will be a guest for Slash's fourth solo album, which is scheduled to be released in 2010.
Some exciting projects for the hard rock legend. I am eager to hear what Slash comes up with on his latest solo album. Keep on rocken Slash.

How Much Is Your Gear Worth?
There are some musicians that are always chasing the latest gear to improve their sound. As a musician myself I know how the thought process goes. We believe that buying new gear will somehow inspire a great song, or make the old songs better. Gear is important but how important is it and how much should you invest.
