Are Old Albums The New Trend?

Old Albums out selling new ones? That is exactly what is happing according to a news article on MSN. Recently, old album sales outsold new ones which has not happened since Nielson SoundScan began tracking US album sales in 1991.

One analyst named David Bakula from Nielsen believes that the trend may have been caused by the cost of albums. A new album could cost you between $13 and $18 where an old album may only cost you somewhere between $5.99 to $10.99.
