Looking at the new Guitar Hero 5 you will notice that there are many similarities to the previous version. The notes will still displaying from a scrolling down screen. The guitars are still made of plastic with clicking buttons, and you still have a mic, guitar, bass, and drum kit.
What is the big deal? Why all the hype? For the new features of course. The biggest improvement I noticed is the "Party Play" mode. Party Play allows you to have play through random songs without having to start a new game after each one is finished. It acts almost like a jukebox.
Another great improvement to Guitar Hero 5 is the fact that you can use any combination of instruments. If you have four people that want to play guitar, that is ok. You can hook up four guitars and everyone will be playing a guitar.
