Rap Artist Jobs Before the Career

Ever wonder how much cash those big rap stars are pulling in every year? These stars are always flashing expensive jewelry and cars while bragging about playing Monopoly with real cash. Although, a number of rap stars would like you to think they were previously gang members or street hustlers before they pursued their rap careers this just isn't always the case. According to a blog on The Village Voice, a number of rap stars worked demoralizing dead-end jobs before striking it rich.

Below is a list of rappers and where they have worked.

Prince Paul: Burger King & McDonalds
Biggie: Met Foods supermarket
Fat Joe: Flavor Shoes, on Fordham Road in the Bronx.
Joell Ortiz: loading trucks for UPS
El-P: Construction
